About Me

I like to refer to myself as a "Reginner" sewist. I learned to sew from my mother very early on. By the time I took Home Economics in junior high school, I was ready to start sewing all my own clothes, and happily did so. Had my cooking abilities matched my sewing skills, the teacher might have been impressed. Eventually the demands of working part time to pay my way through 7 years of rigorous college studies took its tole on creative pursuits such as sewing, and once that Bachelor of Architecture degree was in my hands, sewing was the furthest thing from my mind. Architecture appealed to my creative side. I started a career, married (a fabulous cook - thank heavens!) and even started a family. Then a quilt store opened not far from my house and fabric called to me again.  I signed up for a beginning quilting class and my love affair with sewing began a new.

Now I own a longarm quilting machine and work at a local fabric store.
